Once considered one of the world’s most polluted places, industrial town Vapi has shown significant improvement in pollution management. As a result, Blacksmith Institute which works in highly polluted locations in the developing world with the intent of mitigating human health risks from pollution has removed the name of Vapi from its list of worst polluted places in the world.
