Gujarat Development model atrracts Uganda, Kenya

Countries like Uganda and Kenya are attracted by Gujarat’s Model of Development.  Gujarat CM Narendra Modi and his delegation of 20 members including chief executives of over a dozen industrial houses went to Uganda and Kenya and presented the Gujarat’s Model of Development.

Gujarati people in Kenya and Ugandya felt very proud of it and the Governments of Kenya and Uganda were very impressed with Narendra Modi and development process adopted by Gujarat state. They showed their desire to replicate Gujarat Model in Uganda and Kenya.

The delegation led by Narendra Modi had meetings with Ugandan president Yoweri Musheveni and the first lady, Jenet Musheveni, Vice-President of Kenya Stephen Alaonzo Mushiyoka, the Prime Ministers of the two countries and their Ministers.

Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) organised road shows to help the Ugandan and Kenyan leaders to understand the methods adopted by Gujarat  state for development.

Chief Minister of Gujarat , Narendra Modi Promised to send a delegation of officials to Kenya to help frame laws to ensure private-public partnership, a highly successful effort in the State, for infrastructure and other developmental measures.
