SAP India Subcontinent managing director Ranjan Das passed away today due to heart attack. Ranjan Das was 42.

Ranjan Das has played a big role in growth of SAP in India.

Prior to joining SAP, he was the founder and CEO of Patkai Networks Inc., a Silicon Valley-based venture capital-funded software startup company.

Ranjan Das obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
