Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2011 the 5th Global Summit will take place during 12-13 Jan, 2011
at recently inaugurated Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar.
Vibrant Gujarat Summits Being conducted biennially since 2003, have been a major success and has attracted investment proposals of over US$ 385 bn. On January 12-13, 2011 the immensely popular Vibrant Gujarat is scheduled to take place at the Mahatma Mandir, in the State capital at Gandhinagar.
Vibrant Gujarat 2011- the 5th Summit aims to facilitate investment alliances for the participating countries. The biennial Summit will be the ideal platform to discuss and deliberate business opportunities in the new age world.
The Summit, attended by leading global economies and a galaxy of international fora of business, policy makers, business and political delegations will host extensive B2B interactions, mega exhibition, sectoral seminars and conventions, will provide a very friendly ambiance to the business community.
The 2011 Summit has got a major head start with pre summits and convergence at various national and international fora.
Previous Summits’ Highlights
2003
The 2003 Global Investors’ Summit was held coinciding with the glorious Navratri Festival where a total of 76 MOUs worth USD 14 billion were signed.
2005
The 2005 Summit saw signing of 226 MOUs garnering an investment of USD 20 billion.
2007
The Summit was held from January 10, 2007 to January 13, 2007, at Science City, Ahmedabad. The summit was attended by industry majors like Tata, Birla, Reliance, Shell, General Motors, ICICI to name a few resulted in signing of 675 MOUs worth USD 152 billion.
2009
The Government of Gujarat organized the 4th biennial Global Investors’ Summit 2009 during 12-13 January, 2009. Based on the theme – Gujarat Going Global and aimed at bringing together business leaders, investors, corporations, thought leaders, policy and opinion makers; the summit served as a perfect platform to understand and explore business opportunities with the State of Gujarat.
